Position Summary:

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for executing both demand and scheduled preventive maintenance on facility equipment, focusing on Mechanical, Utilities, and related systems, in compliance with departmental, hospital, and regulatory standards.

This role involves ensuring the upkeep of facilities and equipment within a healthcare setting. The Maintenance Technician II may be required to work various shifts, including weekends, to fulfill the operational needs of the organization.

Travel to other facilities may be necessary to perform essential maintenance tasks.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and utility systems.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure optimal facility operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Experience:
Required: 5 years in a service-related technician role.
Preferred: 3 years in a hospital maintenance environment; 1 year of experience with high-rise mechanical and/or utility systems.

Education:
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Preferred: Technical education in a related field.

Credentials:
Required: Valid Driver's License - State of Florida; Preferred: Relevant certifications.


Work Environment:

This is a full-time position with occasional weekend work and on-call responsibilities. The shift hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
