Foster Care Specialist

Join Youth Villages, a national leader in the implementation of research-based treatment philosophies in the field of children's mental and behavioral health. We are seeking a Foster Care Specialist to work with foster care children, their families, and the court system to provide intensive in-home based treatment.
Responsibilities:- Provide services to the entire family, rather than just the identified youth, to build trust and align them with treatment.
- Manage a caseload of 8-10 families and work with them to develop a treatment plan.
- Deliver services in the family's home or wherever they need us (school, court, etc.) and flexibly schedule sessions to meet the family's needs.
- Document all interactions and progress online and meet with supervisors at least three times per week to discuss progress and personal development.
- A Master's degree in a social services discipline is required, or a candidate within 6 months of graduating with a MA degree in a social services field can be considered.
- One year of experience counseling adolescents in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- A valid driver's license, a personal vehicle to use for work purposes, and auto insurance are required.
