**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Automotive Service Center Technician to join our team at SpeeDee Auburn CA. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers' vehicles receive the highest level of care.

**Responsibilities**

  • Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare vehicles for service, and perform various tasks to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Perform technical tasks, such as vacuuming, cleaning windows, and setting tire pressure.
  • Prepare service documents and affix static stickers.
  • Perform courtesy cleaning, including vacuuming the interior and washing exterior windows.
  • Inspect wiper blades and check and adjust tire pressure as needed.
  • Reset oil indicator lights and start vehicles to check oil pressure.
  • Present vehicles to customers and perform general cleanup tasks.

**Additional Responsibilities**

  • Assist with general center maintenance and cleaning duties, such as mopping and washing windows.
  • Attend crew meetings and perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

**Requirements**

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic literacy and math skills.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicles and use mechanical hand tools.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • No previous experience or training required.

**Working Conditions**

  • Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes.
  • Physical demands include standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.
