Employment Type: Full Time, 0.8, 64.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Work Schedule: Days

Compensation: $50.30 per hour, commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program: Diploma, ADN, BSN, or MSN.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state.
  • Certification as a Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse (CAPA) within 18 months of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of employment.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Administers direct patient care in accordance with established nursing and medical protocols, ensuring adherence to population-specific guidelines.
  • Monitors and addresses complications arising from surgical procedures and anesthesia.
  • Collaborates with healthcare professionals to provide education regarding anesthesia, potential complications, and post-operative care.
  • Follows established safety protocols related to patient care and medication administration, documenting all care provided in accordance with guidelines.
  • Utilizes critical thinking and decision-making skills to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
