Position: PRODUCT CONTROL WORKER – NIGHT SHIFT
Location: San Marcos
Schedule: Night Shift - Monday to Friday, 10 PM to 6:30 AM/Finish
Weekly Hours: 40+ hours; Full Time
Key Responsibilities: The PRODUCT CONTROL WORKER is responsible for receiving and organizing palletized or crated goods by type using a pallet jack. Duties include loading trucks according to loadsheets, scanning items, conducting inventory checks, and performing bin audits. The role may also involve manually moving or stacking products into boxes or crates, as well as stretch-wrapping stacks or pallets as necessary. The position requires the ability to handle heavy stacks of milk, weighing up to 330 lbs, and lift up to 75 lbs occasionally. The work environment is cold, averaging 35°F, and involves checking temperatures and completing necessary documentation. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed. Proficiency in speaking, reading, and understanding English is required. Experience in heavy labor within a similar setting is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Employees in this role must regularly use their hands for gripping, handling, or writing, and must be able to communicate effectively. The position requires standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms, as well as bending, climbing, balancing, or stooping occasionally. Employees may need to push, pull, lift, and/or move items weighing up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: This position involves regular exposure to cold, wet, and/or humid conditions, as well as moving mechanical parts.
