The Clinical Nurse I is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in our 40-bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit. This unit specializes in acute and chronic heart failure, and our team of nursing professionals provides care for a wide range of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans to address their unique requirements.
- Implement and evaluate nursing care, utilizing the nursing process to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including Cardiology, Hospitalists, and Case Management teams, to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress, maintaining accurate and detailed records of care provided.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License.
- 0-6 months of related experience.
- Working knowledge of general disease state management processes, bio-psychosocial model, and clinical pathways.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work in an effective and efficient manner.
