At RENK America, we are seeking a highly skilled Trade Compliance Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with import and export regulations, ensuring that all trade activities align with legal and company requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and manage trade compliance licenses and agreements in accordance with federal regulations to support international business initiatives.
- Manage technical exports for business stakeholders, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
- Oversee the export declaration and HTS classifications process, ensuring seamless coordination with Customs Broker.
- Conduct training sessions for employees and assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.
- Develop and conduct audits of internal controls and procedures to ensure compliant transactions.
- Support external audits and inquiries from US governmental control agencies, such as Customs, DoS, and DoC.
- Provide general export guidance on regulatory requirements to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience; or Associates Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
- Substitution of additional relevant education and experience in lieu of degree may be considered.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Ability to collaborate and mentor.
- Understanding of risk mitigation, OCR EASE, DECCS, and SNAP-R.
