Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures for mechanical systems and equipment.
  • Review design documents, specifications, and drawings to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and clients to establish commissioning requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and testing of mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, and other related systems.
  • Verify the installation of mechanical systems and equipment meets design specifications and industry standards.
  • Perform functional performance tests, including pressure testing, flow testing, and system balancing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during the commissioning process.
  • Prepare detailed commissioning reports, including test results, inspection findings, and corrective actions taken.
  • Maintain accurate records of all commissioning activities, including checklists, test reports, and system documentation.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the design and construction teams to address any issues identified during commissioning.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical commissioning or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with commissioning software and tools.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, LEED, OSHA).
