Job Summary:
Visiting Angels of Portland is seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care services to our clients. As a caregiver with our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need of support.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
- Provide medication management and administration
- Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and grocery shopping
- Accompany clients on outings and provide transportation
- Provide emotional support and companionship
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
