Job Summary
Caregivers at Visiting Angels provide in-home care services to clients in Prince George's County. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, providing emotional support, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Assist clients with non-medical activities, such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
Track daily visits and provide thorough documentation.
Provide social engagement and emotional support to clients.
Maintain a reliable and responsible presence in client visits as scheduled.
Requirements
CNA/CMT license required
High School Diploma/GED
CPR certification
Minimum of one year of experience in home health care or in-home care setting
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Demonstrated ability to work professionally and compassionately with elderly clients
Ability to pass a criminal background check
Valid driver's license and reliable method of transportation
Quick problem-solving abilities and excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
