The successful applicant will be proactive, assume responsibility for tasks, and guarantee that all estimates are precise and submitted punctually.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Coordination: Systematically organize and oversee plans and documentation in accordance with company protocols, ensuring all records are precise and current.
- Deadline Management: Skillfully allocate time and resources to fulfill project timelines, ensuring all estimates are finalized as scheduled.
- Cost Estimation: Deliver thorough and precise cost estimates for prospective projects, including a comprehensive scope of work for each assignment.
- Effective Communication: Maintain clear communication with project managers, general contractors, and installation teams regarding the specifics of each assessment and estimate.
- Blueprint Analysis: Detect potential omissions and discrepancies in project plans, and submit Requests for Information (RFIs) to the general contractor or architect to ensure a comprehensive estimate.
- Specification Review: Analyze and comprehend project specifications and scopes of work, identifying any concerns or conflicts with the plans.
- Material Research: Investigate and identify all essential components for a complete and accurate estimate, including transitions, trim pieces, and other pertinent elements.
