Job Summary

Axient is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to join our team at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington D.C. This is a full-time, regular position with a minimum salary of $135,000.00/Yr. and a maximum salary of $150,000.00/Yr.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review Systems Engineering (SE) Plans and SE Management Plans (SEMP)
  • Provide programmatic and technical support to the U.S. Navy Foreign Military Sales Directorate
  • Provide oversight of System Security (SS) solution development, compliance with Technical Implementation Guide (TIG), and integration with FMS systems
  • Support risk management process and develop RMF packages
  • Draft and review point papers, general correspondence, and technical briefings
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Systems Engineering or equivalent technical degree
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in System Security with DoD major platforms
  • Active or transferable DoD Secret security clearance with current investigation
  • Familiarity with Combat System Architecture, including combat systems design, production, operations, and support processes
  • Experience in SSE and System Security, including Critical Program Information (CPI) analysis, protection solution development, integration, testing, V&V, and complete System Security life cycle
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Navy combat systems such as SSDS and AEGIS
