SJC Cashier

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at San Jose International Airport. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Greets customers and takes food orders, providing information about menus and opportunities to upsell products
• Operates a cash register, receives payment from customers, and provides accurate change
• Cleans and stocks the work area, including the kitchen and food preparation areas
• Assists with inventory management, including receiving and storing supplies and equipment
• Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed, including wrapping, labeling, and storing products

• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers and coworkers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner
• Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions, as well as lift and push objects weighing over 40 pounds
• Requires the ability to speak, read, and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers
