Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Clovis Unified School District as a Special Education Paraprofessional Instructional Assistant II. The successful candidate will provide support to students with special needs, assisting teachers in the classroom and contributing to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist teachers in implementing instructional programs for students with special needs
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting academic and social growth
  • Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student support
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • One of the following:
  • Two years of college (48 units)
  • A.A. degree (or higher)
  • Passage of the CBEST exam
  • Pass a local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction (Paraprofessional Test)
