Exceptional Needs Educator

We are currently looking for a Special Education Teacher to join our dedicated team at Celebrations Speech Group Inc. This role involves working in a school environment to manage cases and provide tailored academic instruction within a Special Education classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver focused instruction to students with special needs and recognized learning challenges.
- Employ diverse teaching strategies to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
- Conduct and evaluate individual assessments and standardized tests.
- Oversee the creation, proposal, and execution of Individualized Education Plans (IEP) in compliance with educational regulations.
- Design customized lessons and curriculum modifications for students with specific IEP requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive records of students' special education documentation, including IEPs and progress reports.
- Ensure students receive appropriate services aligned with their IEPs and monitor their progress towards established goals.
- Collaborate with general education staff to adapt and modify learning materials to support student needs through various instructional methods.
- Mandatory: California Education Specialist Credential
- We welcome out-of-state candidates with equivalent credentials to apply.
- Experience in Special Education.
- Ability to provide direct, in-person support to students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Special Education laws and policies.
- Commitment to working with a diverse student population.
- Proficient in technology.
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively.
- Strong judgment in prioritizing responsibilities.
