About This Role

The Assembly Team Lead is a critical position at Crusoe Energy, responsible for overseeing the final assembly of manufactured products and components. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of assembly crew members, providing training and coaching to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Review work orders to ensure that the team has all the necessary resources, including hardware, components, and in-house parts.
  • Work with other department leads to avoid any shortages and ensure that production meets required schedules.
  • Schedule adherence and communication of any schedule changes to internal teams, including Project Management and Sales.
  • Accountable for continuously improving procedures, processes, and methods in the work team to ensure safety and quality.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, parts inventory, and materials to prevent production delays.
  • Act as a floater/resource to backfill production team members when required.
Requirements
  • Requires lift, lower, push, and pull all sizes of merchandise up to 50 lbs.
  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back to operate computers.
  • Willing to take a background and drug test.
  • Licensed Forklift Operator preferred.
  • Crating and packaging skills.
  • UPS and FedEx tracking knowledge preferred.
  • Experience in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Infor Visual or Acumatica experience a plus.
  • Computer literacy in MS Office and Google products.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to check engineering drawings.
  • Eager to learn with strong listening and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates professionalism and willingly accepts responsibility.
  • This person performs as a team player, always shows a positive attitude towards clients, and strives for constant improvement in process and delivery.
  • An abundance of patience to see a complicated project to the end.
  • Drive to create and continually improve systems.
  • High level of mechanical aptitude.
  • ISO 9001:2015 experience is a plus.
  • Metal manufacturing experience is a plus.
  • Electro Mechanical experience is a plus.
