About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assembly Laborer to join our team at Lippert. As an Assembly Laborer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble components according to product specifications, ensuring that all parts and subassemblies are correctly positioned and fastened.
  • Preparation and Organization: Prepare workstations by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Problem-Solving and Communication: Identify and resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications, and notify supervisors to obtain additional resources as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure it remains operational and efficient.
  • Supply Management: Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, and placing orders as necessary.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate daily with supervisors regarding potential issues and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Up to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on assembly and quality control.
  • Skills: Ability to read and follow documented procedures and standards, perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouching, crawling, and climbing for extended periods, and lift and move items over 50 pounds.
