Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is a key member of the Homewood Suites Erie team, responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of hotel financial transactions. This role requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile all hotel cashier transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and compile management reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Ensure the accuracy of guest billings and city ledger transactions.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management to address concerns and issues.
- Perform guest service agent duties as required, including check-in, check-out, switchboard operation, and reservations.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or one year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
- Guest Service Experience preferred.
- Computer knowledge/skills required.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
Working Conditions:
The Night Auditor will work in a hotel environment, with frequent interaction with guests and staff. The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on attention to detail and analytical skills.
