Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Island View Casino Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality baked goods and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce a variety of baked goods, including bread, pastries, and desserts, to meet the demands of our buffet and special events.
  • Decorate custom cakes and follow recipes set by our Executive Chefs to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Assist in banquet food production and help to ensure timely and efficient service to our guests.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time to meet deadlines.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to guest requests and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years of experience working in a bakery or related field.
  • Ability to pipe and decorate cakes, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and guests.
