Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Audiologist to join our team as a skilled professional responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing challenges. This role requires strong clinical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering personalized care.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Testing: Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using audiometric tests and other diagnostic tools to identify hearing and balance disorders.
  • Patient Consultations: Consult with patients to discuss test results, explain diagnoses, and recommend appropriate treatment options.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop customized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, which may include hearing aids, assistive listening devices, or other therapeutic interventions.
  • Hearing Aid Fittings: Provide expert guidance on selecting, fitting, and adjusting hearing aids for optimal comfort and performance.
  • Counseling: Offer counseling and support to patients and their families regarding hearing loss, communication strategies, and coping mechanisms.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Professional Development: Stay informed about advancements in audiology research, technology, and best practices to continuously improve patient care.
Requirements
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited program.
  • State licensure and certification as an Audiologist.
  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Compassion and empathy for individuals with hearing challenges.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.
