Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to join our team at an exceptional school district in Baltimore, MD.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech-language pathology and a passion for working with students with special needs.

This is a full-time, on-site position with a competitive compensation package and opportunities for professional growth and development.


Responsibilities
  1. Provide support to speech-language pathologists in assessing and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  2. Assist in implementing speech and language therapy programs, including data collection and progress monitoring.
  3. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive educational environment.
  4. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless transitions and support.

Qualifications

The minimum qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year of verifiable, professional experience as a School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant within the last 3 years.
  • Valid School Speech Language Pathologist Assistant credential/license or in process in the state of practice.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
