- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements, including healthcare laws, regulations, and guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure education and implementation of compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits, investigations, and risk assessments, identifying areas for improvement and developing recommendations for remediation.
- Compile, analyze, and summarize compliance data, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Review and approve legal contracts and documents, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
- Participate in professional development efforts, staying up-to-date on industry trends, laws, and regulations.
- Juris Doctor/Doctorate degree from an accredited institution.
- North Carolina bar license to practice law.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a healthcare regulatory, compliance, or transactions attorney.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manipulate large datasets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse stakeholders.
- Advanced working experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
