Job Title: Travel CT Technologist

Samba Care is seeking a skilled Travel CT Technologist to join our team in Pompton Plains, New Jersey.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced CT Technologist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare examination rooms for patient examinations and administer radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
  • Position patients and equipment, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort.
  • Insert commands and data into the computer to document and specify scan sequences, and monitor video displays to adjust density or contrast.
  • Monitor patients during examinations, ensure their safety, and follow procedures to prevent unnecessary exposure to radiation.
  • Produce diagnostic images, report important information to physicians, and update patient records.
  • Organize daily procedure schedules for emergencies and monitor radiographic supplies.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as answering technical questions, scheduling appointments, and offering pre-procedure advice.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs on radiographic equipment.
Requirements:
  • Current certification as a CT Technologist.
  • Experience working in a healthcare environment, preferably in a radiology department.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
