About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing building operations and maintenance for a facility, campus, or portfolio of small to medium-sized buildings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and oversee the recruiting and hiring of new staff
  • Schedule and manage daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff
  • Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors
  • Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues
  • Prepare and manage capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports
  • Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage environmental health and safety procedures for facilities
  • Oversee vendor relationships and invoicing procedures
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience in facilities management. A Facility Management certification is preferred, as is experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention.
