Non-Destructive Testing Technician

ATS is seeking a highly skilled NDT Level II Technician with FPI or RT experience to support our team in Hampton, Virginia. This is a contract position with competitive hourly pay and per diem.
Responsibilities:- Perform examinations of materials in accordance with procedures, codes, standards, and specifications.
- Interface with department managers and clients to determine scope of work and work priorities.
- Prepare written instructions and report the results of examinations.
- Work independently and support team members.
- Level II FPI or RT - Meet the minimum requirements of an NDT Level II PT or RT Technician per NAS-410.
- Castings inspection experience with FPI and/or RT.
- Additional NDT certs are a plus.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department.
- Work from heights on scaffolding, ladders, elevated platforms, man-baskets, etc.
- Work in confined spaces which will require crawling, stooping, climbing, etc.
- Work in around operating equipment and industrial environments.
- Work with radiation and hazardous materials.
