Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Cardio Thoracic team. The successful candidate will assist with patient positioning and transfer, monitor patient safety, and maintain a sterile surgical field.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with patient positioning and transfer using proper body mechanics and monitoring patient safety.
- Maintain a sterile surgical field, ensuring the integrity of the operating room environment.
- Anticipate and meet the needs of the surgeon, including retracting tissues and organs, and utilizing electrocautery.
- Perform surgical scrub procedures according to policy and maintain a neutral zone when passing sharps.
- Participate in hospital performance improvement activities, including data collection and analysis.
- High School Diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Foreign Medical school graduate.
