Job Description

SourcePro Search is seeking an experienced Office Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical support and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for office computers, printers, scanners, and other devices
  • Assist service desk personnel and local Office Technology Manager with troubleshooting and operational maintenance of desktop systems
  • Perform various technical duties, including installing and configuring desktop, laptop, and telephone equipment
  • Provide on-site technical assistance, including computer setup and breakdown, office moves, and troubleshooting of printer, scanner, and mobile devices
  • Actively participate in pilot groups and perform quality assurance of computer system builds, program deployment, and updates
  • Isolate customer problems with hardware and/or software as first-line support and escalate problem resolution to more senior technicians as necessary
  • Enter data into and manage inventory databases to track information pertaining to hardware and software moves, adds/changes
Requirements:
  • Available to work overtime, as required
  • Exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation
  • 3+ years applicable and relevant technical experience, including 1+ years experience in data management
  • Proficient knowledge of Windows operating systems, including Windows 7 and Windows 10
  • Working knowledge of MS-Office Suite, ranging from 2016 and higher
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Server 2008, 2012, 2016
  • Basic networking architecture knowledge, including TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
  • Prior experience working in a law firm or professional services industry

  • Participation in PMO projects
  • Good analytic skills and effective presentation skills to allow for effective customer support
  • Accuracy in data entry maintenance
  • Ability to work well with others, including technicians, to maintain efficient systems operations
  • Ability to complete work in a timely manner with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Professional, client-service orientation and demeanor
