Job Summary:CHS Inc. is seeking an Applicator/Truck Driver in Mooreton, ND, for a hybrid position that combines driving and application duties based on seasonal and business needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision, potentially using high-clearance sprayers or floaters.
- Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
- Work with customers in a courteous and professional manner, educating them on products, techniques, and services.
- Assist sales staff in ensuring orders are correct and patron needs are met.
- Perform warehouse work, including driving a loader, forklift, mechanics, and maintenance.
- Lift and load products for 1-2 hours daily.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and work environment.
- Complete and document daily maintenance inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
- 1+ year of experience in agriculture production, operations, and/or application.
- Meet minimum age requirement.
- Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays, and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
- Agriculture background and customer experience preferred.
- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred.
