Applicator/Truck Driver

CHS Inc. is seeking a skilled Applicator/Truck Driver to join our team in Mooreton, ND. As a hybrid position, you will alternate between driving and applying products depending on the season and business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision, utilizing high-clearance sprayers or floaters as needed.
- Pick up and deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Work with customers to educate them on products being applied, techniques used, and how to continue supporting their needs.
- Assist sales staff in ensuring orders are accurate and patron needs are met.
- Perform warehouse duties, including driving a loader, forklift, and performing maintenance tasks.
- Lift and load products, up to 1-2 hours per day.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip reporting, load securement, and hours of service.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and work environment.
- Complete and document daily maintenance inspections and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
- 1+ year of experience in agriculture production, operations, and/or agricultural application.
- Meet minimum age requirement.
- Maintain or obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work additional hours, be available for overnight stays, and occasional weekends to meet business demands.
- High School diploma or GED preferred.
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred.
- Agriculture background and customer experience preferred.
- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred.
