Our team in the Valuation group is recognized as a leading specialist in the valuation of businesses, securities, and intangible assets for tax, transaction, and compliance purposes. You will play a crucial role in business development, marketing, and staff management.

The ideal candidate will exhibit success skills such as collaboration, critical thinking, emotional intelligence, executive presence, growth mindset, intellectual curiosity, and results focus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops, grows, and manages the Valuation Consulting practice
  • Develops areas of expertise
  • Manages/performs consulting engagements as required
  • Assists with proposals and business development, including marketing materials and web-based initiatives
  • Teams with personnel from other offices and industry groups to manage and develop consulting practices
  • Attends valuations industry trade shows and conferences and participates in firm-wide marketing and sales programs
  • Assists in the development of training programs for existing clients and prospects
  • Participates as a presenter of topics on valuation seminars and webinars
  • Writes and/or co-authors articles for publications on valuation periodicals
  • Develops and participates in public speaking opportunities at industry trade shows and conferences
  • Leverages technical knowledge and experience to provide effective project management and practice development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics required; MBA preferred
  • CPA, ABV, CFA, or ASA designation preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience required
  • Demonstrated practice management skills and practice development success
  • Outstanding client service skills
  • Team player and deadline-oriented
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and set workload priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to travel approximately 10%

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position in California ranges from $222,000 to $350,000. This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For more information about our benefits and total rewards, please visit our website.
