About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician PRN to join our team at Ernest Health. As a Pharmacy Technician PRN, you will play a critical role in supporting our clinical operations and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Retrieve, count, and measure medications to ensure accuracy and safety
  • Assist pharmacists in price-checking and restocking medications
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescription information from our computer system
  • Refer physician calls and medical questions to pharmacists
  • Integrate our hospital's mission and guiding principles into daily practice
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (or registered by the State Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician)
  • Current state certification and registration with the Board of Pharmacy (preferred)
  • Hospital experience (preferred)
  • National certification (PTCB) (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures
  • General computer skills, including data entry, word processing, email, and record management
  • Effective organizational and time management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality
  • Ability to work closely and professionally with others
  • Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
  • Ability to utilize concepts of age/developmental stages in interactions with patients and families

Compensation

The wage range for this role is $23.10/Hr. - $28.16/Hr.
