Job Summary
The Registered Nurse II is a key member of our healthcare team, providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities
This role involves:
- Performing comprehensive assessments and developing personalized care plans that prioritize patient needs and goals
- Providing direct patient care, including administering medications, conducting treatments, and monitoring patient progress
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions between departments
- Identifying and addressing patient safety concerns, promoting a culture of safety and quality
- Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient interactions and care provided
- Participating in unit-based committees and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and excellence in patient care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid RN license in California
- At least 2 years of recent experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing
- A strong foundation in nursing theory and practice, with a focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
