Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Control Specialist to join our team at Travelers Insurance. As a key member of our Property Risk Management team, you will be responsible for conducting quality risk assessments, assisting customers with loss control, and providing consultation to staff and business partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct risk assessments at complex properties to identify potential hazards and risk factors
  • Document findings and recommendations to account executives and clients
  • Consult with clients on ways to control hazards and reduce losses
  • Serve as a technical expert resource to risk control consultants and underwriters
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with underwriting and service teams, brokers, agents, and clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 8 or more years of experience in property risk management or a related field
  • Exceptional technical and interpersonal skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to attain appropriate certification to meet state-specific requirements
