Mortgage Loan Officer Opportunity at Travis Credit Union
Travis Credit Union (TCU) is actively seeking to fill 2 REMOTE roles for Mortgage Loan Officers. While these positions are remote, occasional participation in staff meetings is necessary. Candidates should possess a proven track record of self-generated business within the communities served by TCU: Alameda, Colusa, Contra Costa, Merced, Napa, Placer, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, and Yolo counties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and finalize new business opportunities with external partners.
- Establish connections within the community to enhance mortgage loan production.
- Coordinate events aimed at boosting brand visibility and nurturing business relationships.
- Execute strategies to achieve marketing objectives and evaluate industry trends.
- Originate mortgage loans while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
- Maintain effective communication with members to guarantee timely closings.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and TCU's products/services.
- Understanding of real estate lending standards and regulations.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented and self-driven.
- Demonstrated sales and business development expertise.
- Capability to customize communications for diverse audiences.
- Reports to the Manager of Mortgage Loan Officers.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Loan Officer.
- At least 3 years of experience in self-sourced mortgage business.
- Proven track record in prospecting and generating loan volume.
Additional Qualifications:
- NMLS registration in accordance with the SAFE Act.
- Engagement in the TCU Driving Program.
