Job Title: Lead Mechanical Design Engineer

At Synerfac, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of cutting-edge lighting products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the mechanical design process from concept to production, ensuring products meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Guide and mentor a team of mechanical engineers, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting best practices in design and engineering.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineering, industrial design, product management, and manufacturing, to deliver innovative solutions that meet customer needs and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including specifications, design reviews, and technical reports.
  • Implement and oversee quality control processes throughout the design and manufacturing phases to ensure high standards are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, with a focus on consumer electronics or outdoor equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate effectively are critical.
  • Proven experience leading design projects from concept to production.
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and including DFM, DFA, and FEA.
  • Familiarity with materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly techniques relevant to lighting products.
  • Familiarity with the design of injection molding components.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
