About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team at Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our patients through one of the most significant moments of their lives.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns, including administering medications, performing routine checks, and responding to emergencies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor fetal heart rates, maternal vital signs, and other critical indicators to ensure the health and well-being of both mother and baby.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in labor and delivery care.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider NRP - American Academy of Pediatrics within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year - Nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Certification in area of specialty is preferred upon hire, unless otherwise indicated.
