Liberty Health is seeking a skilled Medication Technician to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in a safe and timely manner.
- Take and document medication orders, receive and store medications, and maintain accurate records.
- Provide excellent nursing care, including vital sign monitoring, enemas, and suppositories.
- Implement universal precautions and hazardous chemical procedures to ensure resident and staff safety.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Monitor resident status and report any changes to the doctor, family, and administration.
Requirements:
- Certified Nurse's Aide certification or completion of the 75-hour course and Liberty Health's Medication Administration course.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly or at least 10 times per shift.
