Registered Dietitian

As a Registered Dietitian at Adventist Health White Memorial, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents with special needs or those who meet nutritional risk criteria.

You will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing nutritional plans, and educating patients and their families on healthy eating habits. Your expertise will help ensure that our patients receive the best possible care and support.

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify nutritional needs and develop personalized plans of care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, meal planning, and nutrition-related topics.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and document all interventions in accordance with policy and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.

• Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent.
• Master's Degree in Nutrition or related field (if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24).
• Experience as a Clinical Dietitian (preferred).
• Dietetic internship or equivalent.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of completion of residency program.
