RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Adventist Health is seeking a skilled RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to join our team in Montebello, California.

As a RDN - Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, you will provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents identified with special needs and/or those who meet nutritional risk criteria. Your responsibilities will include patient assessment and reassessment, patient and family education, interdisciplinary communication, nutritional plan of care development, and documentation of all interventions in accordance with policy and acceptable practice standards.

• Perform comprehensive initial nutritional assessments and ongoing reassessments of patients' nutritional conditions and stability.
• Develop and implement effective nutritional plans of care, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care, including education and support for patients and families.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest research, guidelines, and best practices in nutrition and dietetics.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to nutrition care.

• Bachelor's Degree in food and nutrition or equivalent: Required
• Master's Degree: Required, only if eligibility for examination began on or after 1/1/24
• Experience as a Clinical Dietitian: Preferred
• Dietetic internship or its equivalent: Required
• Registered Dietitian (RD) within 6 months of completion of residency program: Required
