Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our Outpatient team at Carle Foundation Hospital. As an SLP, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients of all ages with speech and language disorders. You will work closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify speech and language disorders and develop treatment plans to address these issues
  • Administer and interpret standardized assessments to evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Illinois
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
