About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Safety Consultant to join our team at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. As a key member of our quality improvement team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective patient safety programs to improve quality outcomes and reduce risk.
  • Collaborate with hospital administrators and legal counsel to investigate incidents and potential lawsuits.
  • Work closely with healthcare teams to identify and mitigate risks, and implement evidence-based practices to improve patient care.
  • Conduct thorough investigations and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including hospital administrators, physicians, and nurses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as nursing, healthcare administration, or risk management.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality improvement, patient safety, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
