Optic Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Optic Operator to join our team at the C Line - Euclid Plant. As an Optic Operator, you will be responsible for setting up fruit drops on the sizer, adjusting sizer weight and colors per grade requirement, and maintaining pace with production line. You will also be responsible for maintaining an efficient and clean work area, knowing Stemilt fruit grades, and consistently striving to improve sorting capabilities of the machine. Additionally, you will be required to compile daily data and send it to appropriate groups, and utilize the full spectrum of tools at hand to maximize grower returns.

Responsibilities:

* Set up fruit drops on the sizer
* Adjust sizer weight and colors per grade requirement
* Maintain pace with production line
* Maintain efficient and clean work area
* Know Stemilt fruit grades
* Compile daily data and send it to appropriate groups

Requirements:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
* Ability to write simple correspondence
* Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
* Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
* Oracle and Discoverer capabilities
* Intermediate computer skills
* Ability to read, speak, and write English
* Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
