Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to support our team in providing high-quality therapy services. As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver speech and language therapy services to students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the delivery of speech and language therapy services, implementing therapy plans and interventions designed to meet the individual needs of students.
  • Conduct therapy sessions and monitor progress according to established protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of student treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license in North Carolina.
  • Previous experience working in a school or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with ECATS (Exceptional Children Accountability Tracking System) is preferred.
