Job Summary

The Salvation Army is seeking a highly skilled Social Services Manager to oversee and direct social service programs/ministries, providing a continuum of care for adults, children, and families within the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and administer social ministries programs, including new program development, case management, staff/volunteer supervision, and collaboration with community social service providers.
  • Monitor program outcomes, procedures, and budget, ensuring effective use of resources.
  • Supervise staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other community social service providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to meeting community needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social work required; Master's degree in social work (MSW) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in social work or the social services field, with direct care and supervisory/management experience.
  • Knowledge of social service field/community resources, with ability to develop budgets, reports, and maintain statistical data and fiscal records.
  • Results-oriented, with ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization, and proven expertise in building and maintaining positive relationships with diverse individuals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and data management systems, with valid driver's license and use of official vehicle may be required.
