About the Role:
We're seeking an experienced Climate and Strategy professional to bolster Patch's marketplace as an Integrity Lead. This role will collaborate with suppliers, entrepreneurs, and technologists on the cutting edge of carbon removal and carbon markets, building strong relationships to enhance trust, integrity, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an integrity subject matter expert for technical climate questions, project diligence, and supplier onboarding assessments, delivering relevant market insights to the team.
- Develop and own commercial relationships with ecosystem partners, elevating integrity and trust in carbon credits.
- Cross-functional collaboration with GTM, Engineering, Product, Design, and Partnerships teams to achieve commercial objectives.
- Strategize and operationalize new business processes across the supplier network.
- Facilitate a positive, partner-obsessed experience with team members and customers.
Requirements:
- Significant years of technical or academic experience in sustainability or climate-related fields like carbon removal, voluntary carbon markets, or adjacent industries.
- Ability to work directly with external suppliers and internal teams to build and iterate upon Patch's integrity process.
- Strong grasp of carbon project technologies, participants, suppliers, and market trends.
- Strategic thinking about adding value to existing and prospective partners and team members through market insights.
- Proven track record of independently delivering work and influencing others.
- Experience communicating value to partners and team members through market insights.
- Occasional travel to client locations to build and support relationships.
- Availability to work from the San Francisco office a few days a week.
