Job Title: Bankruptcy Auditor/Financial Analyst

FSA Federal is a leading organization dedicated to delivering exceptional services in support of law enforcement and homeland security. We are seeking highly skilled professionals to fill this critical role.

Job Summary:

The Bankruptcy Auditor/Financial Analyst will be responsible for conducting professional accounting and auditing analysis, as well as related investigative work, for bankruptcy cases assigned to one or more Program offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Examine corporate structures, including assets, liabilities, and financial performance to determine the debtor's short and long-term operating plans and the viability of the business.
  • Assist counsel in reviews and analysis of bankruptcy cases to determine the adequacy and accuracy of financial documents submitted.
  • Perform technical review of reports and assist counsel with the analysis of bankruptcy cases administered by standing and panel trustees.
  • Review audits of trustees performed by Independent Public Accountants for thoroughness and adequacy.
  • Review trustee accounting statements on a regular basis to ensure compliance with standard business principles and practices.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g. accounting, finance, business administration).
  • Professional certifications such as CIRA, CFE, or CPA are highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Graduate-level degree in a relevant field.
