Job Summary

As a Maintenance Mechanic at Sterling Engineering, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industrial packaging equipment and facilities support equipment with a strong emphasis on maintenance and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Work from daily job assignments, prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, facility check sheets, machine manuals, sketches, preventive maintenance sheets, and instructions.
  • Repair and replace defective parts and component units, including motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, and electrical units.
  • Collaborate with various personnel levels in a team environment.
Requirements
  • Three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems.
  • Ability to provide a set of basic mechanic's hand tools.
