Electromechanical Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Sterling Engineering. As an Electromechanical Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing industrial packaging equipment, as well as facilities support equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial packaging equipment and facilities support equipment
• Work from daily job assignments, prints, schematics, wiring diagrams, facility check sheets, machine manuals, sketches, preventive maintenance sheets, and instructions
• Diagnose and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components

Requirements:

• Three (3) years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems
• Ability to provide a set of basic mechanic's hand tools to function
• Ability to work overtime when necessary, Ability to work weekends when required
• Able to lift up to 55 pounds, good visual accuracy, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
