Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Culinary Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our dining services department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and serve nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
- Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
- Monitor and record food temperatures, inventory, and waste control
- Collaborate with our culinary team to plan and execute menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements
- Provide excellent customer service to residents, responding promptly to their needs and concerns
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary certification preferred
- Minimum two years of experience in cooking or a related field, preferably in healthcare or hospitality
- ServSafe certification a plus
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and residents
- A competitive salary of $17.00 per hour, paid biweekly
