MLee Healthcare Staffing and Recruiting, Inc is in search of a skilled and empathetic Radiologic/CT Technologist to become an integral part of our client's healthcare team. This position is responsible for executing diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiographic and CT imaging as per physician requests.
- Ensure precise patient positioning and apply appropriate techniques for optimal imaging results.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring safety and functionality.
- Inform patients about procedures, addressing any inquiries or concerns they may have.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with healthcare protocols.
- Follow safety guidelines and infection control measures to ensure a secure environment for all.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related discipline is required.
- ARRT Certification as a Radiologic Technologist is mandatory.
- Valid state licensure is required.
- CT certification is preferred or must be obtained within a specified timeframe of employment.
- Prior experience in radiographic and CT imaging procedures is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of imaging technology and equipment.
